Privacy Policy

TIPL HUB is an internal productivity application built and operated by Tapovan Impex Private Limited ("Tapovan", "we", "us") for use by its employees. The app is developed by Priyanshu Sharma, AI Automation Developer at Tapovan Impex Private Limited.

TIPL HUB is intended solely for active employees of Tapovan Impex Private Limited. Account access is created and revoked by Tapovan administrators. The application is not directed at the general public and is not intended for use by children under 18.

We collect the following categories of data, only as needed to operate the app:

• Account information — your name, work email address, phone number, role, department, designation, and profile picture.
• Attendance and location — punch-in / punch-out timestamps, lunch breaks, and the approximate or precise GPS location captured at the moment you punch (used only to verify on-site presence).
• Messages and content — direct messages, channel messages, reactions, file attachments, and images you upload.
• Leave and HR records — leave requests, approval history, performance metrics derived from your attendance.
• Device information — device push-notification tokens, app version, and basic technical logs used to diagnose crashes.
• SMS forwarding (optional, opt-in) — if you install the companion SMS forwarder, OTP and verification SMS messages you choose to forward are stored so that authorised administrators can retrieve them.

• To authenticate you and grant access to the app.
• To record attendance, calculate working hours, and process leave.
• To enable internal communication between employees.
• To send push notifications about messages, mentions, and approvals.
• To produce internal reports for managers and HR.
• To investigate bugs and improve reliability of the app.

All application data is stored in a Supabase-managed PostgreSQL database. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS / TLS and at rest by the database provider. Access to the database is restricted to authorised Tapovan administrators and the application backend.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing. The following technical service providers process data strictly on our behalf to operate the app:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications.
• Vercel — hosting of the website and API endpoints.
• Cloudflare — content delivery and DNS.

We may disclose data if required by Indian law or in response to a valid legal request.

Account, attendance, message, and HR records are retained for as long as your account is active and for as long as required for legitimate business or legal purposes after deactivation. Forwarded SMS messages are retained until manually deleted by an administrator.

You may at any time:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information through your manager or the Tapovan HR / IT department.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to any retention obligations imposed by law or your employment contract.

TIPL HUB is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of TIPL HUB after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
